Worcester Polytechnic Institute Launches Class of 2015 with Commencement Address from Pioneering Astronaut
The largest graduating class in WPI's history, 1,680 students, received their degrees beneath a large, billowing tent that shielded graduates and well-wishers from the sun that occasionally peeked from behind generally cloudy skies. In all, the Institute awarded 956 bachelor's degrees, 682 master's degrees, and 42 PhDs during its 147th Commencement exercises.

Students Earn Degrees from the University of Vermont
Some 2,385 students were awarded a variety of bachelor's degrees during the University of Vermont's 214th commencement ceremonies on May 17. Approximately 474 advanced degrees and certificates were awarded by the UVM Graduate College, and 116 took the oath of Hippocrates following the awarding of their M.D. degrees at ceremonies of the UVM College of Medicine.
